A company is looking for a Staff Accountant, Corporate Accounting.
Key Responsibilities Maintain and update International sales contracts and amendments in the Film Track system Review billing schedules and contracts to ensure accuracy of revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606 Assist with the monthly close process and reconcile key balance sheet accounts
Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting strongly preferred 2+ years of relevant experience in corporate accounting, ideally within media or content distribution Solid understanding of accounting principles and revenue recognition guidance (i.e. ASC 606)
Experience with contract/revenue management systems such as Film Track preferred Advanced skills with MS Excel, with familiarity with large data sets
