The OpportunityAs a Senior Tax Accountant, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality tax services to a diverse client portfolio while continuing to develop your technical expertise and leadership skills. You'll work closely with clients, contribute to tax planning initiatives, and help mentor the next generation of accounting professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare, review, and analyze individual, trust, gift, partnership, and corporate tax returns
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing guidance on tax-related matters and complex issues
- Identify tax planning opportunities and strategies to help clients maximize savings
- Research tax legislation and apply technical knowledge to deliver practical solutions
- Review and reconcile accounting records to ensure accurate tax reporting
- Manage multiple client engagements while meeting deadlines and maintaining exceptional service standards
- Mentor and support junior team members, fostering professional growth and development
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting (BS or BA)
- CPA license preferred or actively pursuing certification
- 3–5 years of public accounting tax experience
- Experience preparing business and individual tax returns
- Proficiency with tax preparation software;
Pro System FX Tax experience is a plus - Quick Books Desktop and Online experience preferred
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Word
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and client relationship skills
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and commitment to client confidentiality
