IT Auditor

Job Description

We are in need of an IT Auditor to join our team located in Hammonton, New Jersey. The role involves ensuring the integrity and efficiency of our IT systems, and you will be working in a dynamic environment. This is a contract to hire employment opportunity where you will play a vital role in the enhancement of our IT operations.

• Conducting regular audits of our IT systems to identify potential security risks or compliance issues
• Developing and implementing audit plans and programs to ensure IT systems are functioning properly
• Using Accounting Software Systems and ERP
  - Enterprise Resource Planning tools to streamline auditing processes
• Analyzing and presenting audit findings to management, suggesting improvements where necessary
• Collaborating with the team to address and resolve audit findings in a timely manner
• Developing audit reports to document audit scope, procedures, findings, and recommendations
• Leveraging knowledge of CobiT and DCAA regulations to ensure compliance in all IT processes
• Conducting reviews of Accounting Functions to ensure accuracy and reliability
• Utilizing knowledge of Audit Program to ensure all audits are conducted in a systematic, disciplined approach
• Regularly updating knowledge and skills related to IT auditing to ensure effectiveness in role

• Must be proficient in Accounting Software Systems
• Familiarity with Audit Program is required
• Experience with CobiT is essential
• Knowledge of DCAA is necessary
• Must be skilled in ERP
  - Enterprise Resource Planning
• Understanding of Accounting Functions is required
• Experience in handling Audit Findings is essential
• Must have expertise in Auditing
• Familiarity with creating Audit Plans is required
• Ability to prepare Audit Reports is necessary
