Adecco is currently assisting a local client in Medford, NJ in recruiting for a Staff Accountant. As a Staff Accountant, you will support a variety of accounting and tax functions for both business and individual clients. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who is eager to build technical skills and gain hands-on experience in a public accounting setting.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare individual and business tax returns
- Provide Quick Books bookkeeping and accounting support
- Assist with financial statement and report preparation
- Support payroll processing and payroll tax filings
- Prepare sales tax reports
- 1–3 years of accounting or public accounting experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
- CPA candidate or interest in pursuing certification
- Experience with Quick Books
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines simultaneously
