Audit Supervisor
Our client, a prominent local CPA firm, is currently seeking an experienced Audit Supervisor. This role is ideal for a public accounting professional with a strong Employee Benefits Audit background, particularly in working with closely held businesses, S corporations, and C corporations.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage audit engagements from planning to completion for a variety of privately held clients, including S corps and C corps
- Supervise and review work performed by audit staff, ensuring quality and compliance
- Maintain strong client relationships by serving as a key point of contact throughout the engagement process
- Provide mentorship and on-the-job training to junior audit staff
- Stay informed on developments in accounting and auditing standards (GAAP, GAAS, etc.)
- BS degree in Accounting or related field
- 5 years' recent public accounting experience in audit/assurance
- Strong background in auditing closely held businesses, S corporations, and C corporations
