Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Analyst to support end-to-end U.S. payroll operations for a multi-state employee population using ADP Global View
. The role will focus on accurate and timely payroll processing, payroll tax compliance, complex issue resolution, audits, payroll controls, and process improvements. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of U.S. payroll laws, taxation, garnishments, benefits deductions, year-end activities, and payroll auditing.
- Support biweekly U.S. payroll processing using ADP Global View
, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance. - Review and validate payroll transactions including new hires, terminations, leaves of absence, salary changes, third-party sick pay, and other adjustments.
- Process and support off-cycle and manual payments in accordance with payroll procedures and state requirements.
- Review severance agreements and related payroll payments.
- Conduct peer reviews and audits of payroll transactions to identify discrepancies and maintain quality.
- Support SOX internal controls
, including pre- and post-payroll audit checklists. - Research and resolve complex and sensitive payroll issues while meeting payroll SLAs.
- Support payroll implementations, system changes, process improvements, and operational efficiencies.
- Provide guidance and support to payroll team members.
- Support federal, state, and local payroll tax audits and inquiries.
- Assist with payroll tax jurisdiction registrations and closures.
- Partner with HR, Finance, Benefits, Payroll Tax, and external vendors as needed.
- 5+ years of payroll processing experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with ADP payroll systems; ADP Global View is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations.
- Experience with payroll audits, controls, and compliance.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and auditing skills.
- Experience supporting payroll projects and implementations.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and confidentiality.
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
