LHH is partnering with a not-for-profit organization in Essex County to hire an Executive Assistant supporting the Director & CEO. This is a full-time, onsite position requiring five days per week in the office. This role provides high-level administrative and operational support to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of the executive office.
Key Responsibilities- Manage complex calendars, meetings, travel, and daily scheduling
- Act as a primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
- Prepare correspondence, reports, presentations, and briefing materials
- Track projects, deadlines, and follow-ups to ensure timely execution
- Coordinate communication and logistics with the Board of Trustees
- Support board and committee meetings, including materials preparation and note-taking
- Maintain organized records, files, and governance documentation
- Oversee expense tracking, budgeting support, and reimbursements
- Assist with special projects and organizational initiatives
- Handle sensitive information with a high level of confidentiality and discretion
- Support office operations and drive process improvements as needed
- 10+ years of senior-level executive administrative or operations experience
- Proven experience supporting executive leadership and working with boards
- Strong organizational, communication, and relationship management skills
- High level of professionalism and discretion
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with office and collaboration tools
- Flexibility to occasionally support evening or weekend needs
