Operational Activities (70%)
- Oversee daily facility requirements regarding maintenance, repairs, cleaning services, storage, supplies, purchasing, maintaining the kitchen area, and similar tasks
- Maintain responsibility for facility cleanliness and security to ensure a healthy and safe working environment for all
- Provide minor technical support and triage with IT, as needed.
- Liaise with vendors to troubleshoot routine issues and maintain office equipment and procedures.
- Evaluate, source, and recommend office services and facilities consultants and vendors
- Provide administrative and logistical support for staff events and training, such as placing supplies and food orders, coordinating conference rooms, and setting up and breaking down events.
- Serve as the point of contact for all matters related to the Newark office
- Facilitate meetings, address employee concerns, and contribute to a positive, inclusive office culture
- Provide valuable insights and recommendations for continuous improvement in office processes and functions
Administrative Oversight (30%)
- Take charge of day-to-day administrative tasks, including but not limited to helping with the scheduling of events in the Newark office, office supply management, and facility coordination.
- Provide administrative support for special events planning, including day-of support.
- Support monthly credit card, translation, and interpretation billing reconciliation.
- Collaborate with the finance team to reconcile rent payments and ensure accurate financial records.
- Maintain a keen eye for detail in managing budgetary aspects related to office operations.
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements
- 2 years of relevant office management or administrative experience
- Proficient in standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite)
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's degree or higher in business administration, management, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in office management or a related role
- Exceptional organizational abilities and communication skills
- Experience with project management or team leadership is advantageous
- Strong customer service ethic and instincts

- Travel 4-6 times per year.
- This role involves occasional lifting and carrying of office supplies and light packages. The ideal candidate should be able to comfortably handle moderate-weight items during day-to-day operations, including food deliveries and supply management

Compensation and Benefits
Braven offers competitive base salaries determined by market benchmarks. The salary range for this role in Newark is $51,700 - $64,600 based on a 50‑hour work week at an hourly rate. This is a full‑time, regular, non‑exempt, and benefits‑eligible position. Braven also provides comprehensive benefits, recognition, and career development.

We gather in the office 3 days a week (Tuesday through Thursday) and work remotely 2 days a week (Monday and Friday). Therefore, this role requires teammates to live within commuting distance of Newark.
