Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated, entrepreneurial Business Development Manager to drive new market growth initiatives, with a primary focus on expanding helium, dry ice, and specialty gas business while supporting broader industrial gas product lines.
This is a true hunter-style sales role
, ideal for someone who thrives on opening new accounts, building long-term relationships, and delivering consultative, solution-based sales strategies.
The individual will also play a key role in aligning multiple branch locations to support regional customers and contributing to the evolution of the company’s marketing and digital presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, target, and develop new customer relationships across industrial, manufacturing, beverage, medical, and specialty gas markets
- Drive growth of helium, dry ice, specialty gases, and core industrial gas offerings, including:
- Dry Ice
- Helium
- Argon, Nitrogen, and specialty gas blends
- Execute consultative, value-based sales strategies
- Build and maintain long-term customer partnerships
- Collaborate with internal branch teams to ensure consistent, high-level service execution
Marketing & Market Expansion
- Generate and nurture leads through proactive outreach and targeted marketing efforts
- Maintain a professional digital and Linked In presence to support business development
- Assist with development of website content and digital marketing initiatives
- Increase brand visibility through trade shows, industry events, and market engagement
- Support content creation aligned with industry trends and customer needs
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Act as a connector across locations to ensure a consistent customer experience
- Operate effectively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
- Provide market intelligence and feedback to leadership on trends, opportunities, and competitive dynamics
