Overview
QLM Search is partnering with a specialist ingredients group that is looking to appoint a Sales Director. Reporting to the VP Sales and forming part of the leadership team, the role will be instrumental in delivering their 5 year commercial strategy in this specialist division.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute effective Ingredient category management strategies to drive sales and profit growth for the business across the QSR category.
- Analyse market trends, customer insights and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to maximize sales potential.
- Build strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders to ensure the business is meeting their needs and driving customer satisfaction.
- Manage and motivate the sales team to achieve sales targets and KPIs.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal departments to ensure alignment and collaboration across the business.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective marketing campaigns and product launches.
Candidates MUST have proven experience as a Senior Sales Manager / Sales Director within the Ingredients or Flavors industry and specifically deep rooted knowledge of QSR, ideally bakery/confectionary/sweet categories. You will have excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a small team. You need strong knowledge of category management strategies across Ingredients with a track record of driving growth through effective implementation.
