Sustainability Intern

Ware Malcomb is a dynamic, forward‑thinking design firm. As a Sustainability Intern you will support internal sustainability initiatives across our offices. This role is best suited for a student pursuing a business degree with a focus on sustainability, environmental management, or corporate responsibility.

The intern will assist with greenhouse gas (GHG) accounting efforts, resource‑reduction initiatives related to office operations, and the development of internal sustainability and office real‑estate guidelines. This is a paid internship for Summer 2026.

• Support greenhouse gas (GHG) data collection, tracking, and documentation
• Assist with evaluating energy use, waste, and other operational sustainability metrics
• Help identify opportunities to reduce environmental impact across office operations
• Contribute to internal sustainability standards, policies, and guidelines
• Research sustainability practices, benchmarks, and reporting approaches
• Assist with internal sustainability reporting and presentations

• Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Sustainability, Environmental Studies, or a related field
• 3rd and 4th year students preferred
• Interest in corporate sustainability and operational environmental performance
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Paid internship: $18–$22 per hour.
