- Support product roadmap and backlog development
- Translate client, regulatory, and business needs into clear requirements and meaningful deliverables
- Partner with product leadership and development teams to define scope, manage risks, and ensure solutions meet stakeholder and customer needs
- Work with the Lead Product Manager to develop and maintain the product roadmap and backlog
- Generate scope of work, estimates, and BRD/FRD documentation
- Break down development projects into meaningful deliverables
- Convey customer and business stakeholder needs to development teams
- Understand requirements and ensure completed deliverable functions properly
- Assess risks to deliverables and report deliverable status to stakeholders and end users
- Work with development teams to understand capabilities, describe product features, and answer questions and clarifications
- BA/S (or equivalent) in Business
- 0-3 years of brokerage business operations or brokerage systems development
- Excellent oral, written, standup presentation, rapport-building, analytical, facilitation, and negotiation skills
- Excellent decision-making skills
- Understanding of software development life cycle, database and system design, technical architecture, messaging, and database schema
- Rudimentary SQL knowledge for testing and reconciliation
- Experience with Shadow Suite® is a plus
- Technology development experience is a plus
- Previous experience on vendor side or working with geographically dispersed groups is a plus
- Certificates or coursework in financial products is a plus, including MBA, CFA Level I or II, or Series 7
Demonstrates expertise in translating client and business needs into actionable requirements while effectively managing product roadmaps and backlogs. Proficient in assessing risks and ensuring deliverables meet stakeholder expectations through strong analytical and communication skills.
