Civil Construction Manager

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Construction Manager to oversee and manage various civil construction projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, exceptional project management skills, and a thorough understanding of construction processes. This role requires a proactive approach to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

• Lead and manage civil construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to project specifications and timelines.
• Coordinate with project stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and suppliers, to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
• Utilize construction management software such as Pro Core and Primavera P6 for project scheduling, tracking progress, and managing resources.
• Conduct thorough construction estimating to prepare accurate budgets and forecasts for project costs.
• Oversee the preparation and review of contracts, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and industry standards.
• Monitor construction site activities to ensure safety protocols are followed and quality standards are maintained.
• Review blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate execution of project plans.
• Implement time management strategies to optimize workflow and resource allocation across multiple projects.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to project teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

• Proven experience in civil construction management with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
• Proficiency in construction management software including Pro Core, Bluebeam, Heavy Bid, Primavera P6, and Civil 3D.
• Strong knowledge of construction estimating techniques and project scheduling methodologies.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Solid understanding of contracts, blueprints reading, schematics, and relevant regulations in the construction industry.
• Exceptional time management skills with a focus on meeting deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
• Strong leadership qualities with excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with diverse teams.
• Prior experience on construction sites is essential for this role.
