With over 30 years of experience, we specialize in home additions, kitchen & bathroom remodels, full-home renovations and luxury home builds.
Position OverviewWe are seeking a Skilled Working Foreman to lead on-site operations and work hands‑on alongside our crew. The ideal candidate is an experienced tradesperson with strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to ensure that all projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest standard.
This is a hands‑on role—you will both manage the site and perform skilled construction work daily.
Responsibilities- Oversee day‑to‑day job site operations, including scheduling, workflow, and coordination with subcontractors.
- Lead by example with hands‑on carpentry, framing, siding, finishing, and other general construction tasks.
- Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications.
- Ensure safety compliance and maintain a clean, organized job site.
- Communicate clearly with project managers, clients, and crew.
- Track materials, deliveries, and progress to keep projects on schedule.
- Inspect work for quality assurance and provide guidance to less experienced team members.
- Report daily progress and any issues to management.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in residential construction.
- Proven experience as a foreman, lead carpenter, or crew leader.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
- Ability to read and follow plans and specifications accurately.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
- Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
- Must be dependable, organized, and take pride in quality workmanship.
- Experience managing small teams or subcontractors.
- Knowledge of NJ building codes and inspection processes.
- Light equipment operation (skid steer, mini‑excavator) a plus.
- OSHA certification preferred but not required.
