Desired Industry Experience

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to support commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role works directly with Project Managers and Superintendents to coordinate subcontractors, manage documentation, track budgets, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Project Manager with buyout, subcontractor coordination, and contract administration
- Manage submittals, RFIs, change orders, and project documentation in Procore
- Track project budgets, cost codes, and monthly billing
- Coordinate with Superintendents to support field operations
- Assist in preparing project schedules and updating progress reports
- Review drawings and specifications for scope coordination
- Attend OAC meetings and document action items
- Support procurement and long-lead item tracking
- Assist with project closeout documentation and turnover packages
- Maintain organized digital and physical project files
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred but not required with experience)
- 3+ years of experience in Commercial, Medical, Industrial, Residential Construction)
- Working knowledge of construction drawings and specifications
- Experience using Procore or similar construction management software
- Strong understanding of subcontractor coordination and project documentation
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Experience in healthcare, industrial, or multifamily construction
- OSHA 30 certification
- Experience with schedule updates (MS Project or similar)
- Exposure to budgeting, cost tracking, and WIP reporting
