Resident Inspector – Construction Engineering Department

French & Parrello Associates (FPA) is seeking a Resident Inspector for our Construction Engineering Department in Wall, Camden, and Newark, NJ.

Responsibilities
  • Perform construction inspection on New Jersey-based bridge and roadway projects.
  • Assist in the review of Cost Estimates and project submittals.
  • Coordinate with Project Managers.
  • Travel to project sites when required.
  • Ensure daily contractor operations are in accordance with Contract Documents.
  • Keep organized and up to date project files.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited Civil Engineering school required.
  • Professional Engineering (PE) License or valid NICET Certification required.
  • Experience performing construction inspection.
  • Minimum of four (4) years of experience with construction projects.
  • Ability to pass a TWIC Background Check.

Compensation

The projected compensation range for this position is $75,000 to $90,000. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as experience, education and skill set.
