Construction Project Manager

• Collaborate with engineers, architects, contractors etc. to develop the specifications of the project
• Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements
• Work with Contractor to obtain permits and licenses from appropriate authorities
• Determine needed resources (Furniture, AV, Flooring, Finishes etc…) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations
• Plan and monitor progress of all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met
• Hire contractors, staff and allocate responsibilities.
• Supervise the work of GC, Tradesmen & installers while providing guidance when needed.
• Evaluate progress, prepare detailed reports and provide regular updates to stakeholders
• Meet all required timelines for work assigned while regularly updating systems as work progresses
• Ensure adherence to all health, safety standards while reporting issues to appropriate parties
• Work with the internal support team (IT, Marketing, Operations, etc..) so that key target dates are met successfully.
• Partner with key Leaders to ensure Hearing Life Team Members understand the work being done, their responsibilities and clinic awareness.

• Proven experience as construction project manager
• In-depth understanding of construction procedures, material and project management principles
• Highly proficient with one or more computer visualization tools (CAD, Visio, etc.)
• Familiarity with HIPAA, ADA, health and safety standards
• Working knowledge of MS Office
• Familiarity with construction/ project management software
• Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Required 10+ years construction project management
• PMP or equivalent certification or work experience will be an advantage

Demonstrates extensive experience in construction project management, including proficiency in project planning, resource allocation, and adherence to health and safety standards. Capable of effective communication and negotiation with stakeholders to ensure project success and compliance.
