Content Coordinator II
A leading podcast and audiobook company is seeking a Content Coordinator II to support the accuracy, completeness, and quality of a large digital content catalog while coordinating production workflows, maintaining product records, troubleshooting content delivery issues, and collaborating with internal teams and external partners to support timely releases to millions of listeners.
Content Coordinator II Responsibilities:
- Support production queues for internal and external audiobook providers by gathering necessary production elements, prioritizing workflows based on stakeholder input, tracking titles through production, and troubleshooting issues with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely releases.
- Maintain and update existing products using content management systems and ONIX metadata, including making, documenting, and tracking changes to product records after publication.
- Support content accuracy, completeness, and quality through proofreading, copyediting, research, detailed record review, and database-related processes while ensuring content and product information meet operational standards.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with editorial, operations, production, and external partner teams to resolve issues, manage multiple priorities, improve workflows, and support efficient content ingestion and delivery.
- Apply strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, multitasking, and attention-to-detail skills in a fast-paced, high-energy environment while maintaining an informed perspective on audio books, podcasts, online media, and digital content.
Content Coordinator II
Qualifications:
- 1 year of professional proofreading or copyediting experience.
- 1 year of editorial or operations experience in audiobook or podcast publishing.
- B.A./B.S. or equivalent degree, preferably in humanities.
- Technical proficiency with the Windows operating environment, Microsoft Office including Outlook and Excel, database concepts and best practices, and Airtable is preferred.
- Strong research skills using SEO, social media, and web-based tools are preferred.
- Experience with audiobook, publishing, or digital media content operations is preferred.
- Knowledge of ONIX metadata standards is preferred.
- Project management and process improvement experience is preferred.
- Understanding of content ingestion workflows is preferred.
