Overview About the Role
The primary purpose of the Senior Customer Service Receptionist position is to register visitors for/or same day procedures by creating a visitor badge using the Visitor Management System; greet patients and visitors while providing friendly and prompt assistance when directing them to their destination as appropriate. Assists in the training of new staff, takes lead at the Information Desk and provide support in the supervisor’s absence to ensure customer satisfaction.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Registers visitors for visitation and same‑day procedures by creating visitor badges using the Visitor Management System.
- Greets patients and visitors, offering friendly and prompt assistance.
- Directs patients and visitors to their appropriate destinations.
- Assists in training new staff members.
- Takes the lead at the Information Desk as needed.
- Provides support in the supervisor’s absence to ensure high customer satisfaction.
Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent and at least three (3) years of experience in a business, hospitality, or healthcare-related field.
- Preferred:
Associate Degree plus at least one (1) year of experience in a business, hospitality, or healthcare-related field. - Strong computer skills, including data entry, website navigation, and use of various software for daily operations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Demonstrates patience, empathy, and professionalism.
- Able to organize and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong problem‑solving skills with a friendly and welcoming demeanor.
- Good interpersonal and conflict‑resolution skills.
- Ability to multi‑task and maintain proper telephone etiquette.
- Strong time‑management skills and attention to detail.
- May be required to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Bilingual skills preferred.

The expected hourly range for this position is TC/1450:
Probationary Rate $20.93 - Job Rate $21.43 - Two (2) Year Rate $22.07 per hour, in accordance with the New Jersey Pay Transparency Law; final compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
