Job Title: Customer Service Representative
Location: Newark, NJ
Job Type: Contract
Max Pay Rate: $19/hr
Shift: Monday & Wednesday–Saturday, 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM
The Customer Service Representative supports daily operations by coordinating with customers, business partners, and driver teams to ensure smooth delivery operations and excellent service experience. This role involves real-time problem solving, route monitoring, and customer communication in a fast-paced environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesAssist customers and business partners via phone and email
Handle customer concerns professionally and resolve issues efficiently
Diagnose and resolve delivery or service-related problems
Monitor delivery routes and track progress
Scan haul-away pods and verify documentation
Process order changes, updates, and cancellations
Maintain clear communication with internal teams and drivers
Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Problem-solving and organizational skills
High school diploma or equivalent
1+ year customer service or call center experience
Experience handling customer complaints and escalations
Ability to work under pressure and meet service expectations
