Customer Support Representative I
Customer Support Representative I – On-Site in Newark, NJ Pay Rate:
Starts at $20 /Hr.
Schedule:
Mon–Fri, 8AM–4PM Start: ASAP Duties/Responsibilities
• Manage and plan customer order process; support on-time delivery, enhance customer experience
• Enter orders accurately and timely in ERP system
• Handle customer inquiries, follow-ups via email/phone
• Proactively update customers on changes, delays, important info
• Coordinate with scheduling, production, shipping for deliveries
• Manage filing, billing, purchase orders; collaborate with departments
• Follow up on past due accounts
• Record and process quality complaints; ensure credit compliance
• Produce detailed product masters; maintain key customer inventory/replenishment
• Respond thoroughly to requests from customers, sales, service reps
• Identify and resolve process issues before releasing to production
• Recommend improvements to customer experience
Required Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED
• 2 years customer service experience (manufacturing preferred)
• ERP experience (order entry/returns) a plus
• Proficient in MS Word, Outlook, Excel
Preferred Experience /Skills
• Manufacturing customer service background
• ERP, inventory, quality complaint handling
