Customer Service Representative - FT

$16.50/hour Monthly Commission Opportunity Shift Premium may Apply. We’re hiring immediately! We’re seeking an energetic and customer‑focused individual to join the Avis Budget Group team at our airport locations. In this dynamic, hands‑on role, you’ll work outdoors, assisting customers throughout the rental and return process and ensuring a smooth, efficient, and positive experience for all.

• Assist customers throughout various stages of the rental and return process on our airport lots.
• Check vehicles, enter information into a handheld device, and process rentals for loyalty customers.
• Assist customers at exit gates and check in vehicles at return.
• Provide professional, friendly customer service to ensure every customer’s experience is positive.

• Bi‑weekly hourly wage (New York and Puerto Rico: weekly wage)

• Valid Driver’s License
• Basic computer skills (typing, data entry)
• Effective verbal communication and customer service skills
• A customer‑first mindset with a genuine desire to help people and create positive experiences
• Strong customer service skills, including professionalism, patience, and clear communication
• Willingness to work outdoors and stay active
• Flexibility to work all shifts
• Ability to type, sit, stand, walk, or move throughout the rental lot; enter and exit vehicles for prolonged periods; and drive a variety of vehicles
• Must be 18years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States
• Regular on‑site presence required; cannot be performed remotely
• Experience:
  
  Six months of retail or customer service experience in a fast‑paced environment is a bonus
