Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey (RSDM) is seeking a Dental Assistant within the Department of Restorative Dentistry, Rutgers School of Dental Medicine.

• Takes, develops and mounts x-rays; maintains x-ray solutions and developer with x-ray cleaning log.
• Charts examinations under the direction of the physician.
• Assists in implant procedures and maintains inventory of implant components.
• Serves as backup sterilization assistant, cleans ultrasonic units as needed.
• Prepares clinical kits for students.
• Cleans up all discharged bodily fluid immediately.
• Prepares the unit for provider and patient.
• Sets and drapes the patient to prepare for treatment.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• Certificate of Dental Assistant and Radiology Licensure.
• Primary Source Verification:
  Dental Assisting National Board.
• Minimum of three (3) years of dental experience is highly preferred.
