Overview
RWJBarnabas Health, the largest integrated healthcare system in New Jersey, is seeking a Traumaplasty Orthopedic Surgeon to join our expanding orthopedic services across Northern New Jersey. This is an outstanding opportunity to practice in a dynamic clinical environment that blends orthopedic trauma care with adult reconstruction, supported by experienced colleagues, a robust referral base, and comprehensive ancillary services.
The Traumaplasty Surgeon will manage complex fracture care, periarticular trauma, and arthroplasty for fracture and post-traumatic conditions, while also contributing to elective total joint procedures as appropriate. The role is ideal for a surgeon who enjoys clinical variety and values collaboration across trauma, orthopedic, and surgical subspecialties.

Candidate Requirements- BC/BE in Orthopedic Surgery
- Fellowship training in Orthopedic Trauma and/or Adult Reconstruction preferred
- New Jersey licensed or eligible for licensure
- Interest in fracture-related arthroplasty and complex reconstruction
- Interest in clinical research and education
- Prior teaching experience is preferred
- Hybrid practice combining orthopedic trauma and arthroplasty
- Affiliation with busy trauma services and established orthopedic programs
- Strong institutional support and referral network
- Collaborative team-based environment
The anticipated salary range for this position if hired to work is $500,000 to $785,000 per year.
The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate’s educational background, skills, and professional experience.
