Academic Foundations Center seeks a curriculum developer to design, create, and update educational materials (lesson plans, assessments, digital resources) by collaborating with subject matter experts, analyzing learning needs, and ensuring course curriculum aligns with current standards and goals.

• Design & Development:
  Create comprehensive curricula, lesson plans, learning objectives, assessments, and digital content.
• Collaboration:
  
  Work with instructors, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to ensure relevance and effectiveness.
• Needs Assessment:
  Conduct research and analysis to identify learning gaps and strategic needs.
• Training & Support:
  Provide training to educators on implementing new curricula.

• Full‑time Rutgers University‑Newark faculty or senior‑level administrators with prior teaching or working experience with first‑generation students, especially from Newark or Greater Newark.
• Bachelor’s degree required;
  Master’s degree strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
