Admissions Specialist, Alpha

NOTE:

This is a hybrid position requiring in-person attendance in San Francisco, Santa Barbara, or NYC.

This role places you at the center of each family's experience from initial inquiry through enrollment, ensuring every touchpoint embodies Alpha's precision, approachability, and high standards. You will manage day-to-day correspondence, organize impactful admissions events, and uphold meticulous applicant records that support sound decision-making.

If you excel in dynamic, purpose-driven settings—where attentiveness, structured coordination, and accuracy directly influence family experience and enrollment outcomes—this hybrid opportunity combines remote flexibility with consistent in-person participation at admissions gatherings.

• Manage and respond to the admissions inbox, delivering prompt, considerate, and polished communication with prospective families (both virtually and face-to-face)
• Handle and monitor digital admissions documentation with rigorous attention to detail
• Attend all admissions events, including information sessions, shadow days, and community gatherings, whether held on campus or online
• Collaborate directly with Lead Guides to arrange student shadow day visits
• Maintain current and precise admissions systems, records, and follow-up workflows

• Set admissions strategy or render final admissions determinations
• Function in a purely administrative, behind-the-scenes capacity with no direct family contact
• Work within a sluggish, heavily bureaucratic structure
• Prioritize relationship development without demonstrating rigorous execution and follow-through

This position is designed to ensure a smooth, high-conversion admissions process that supports robust enrollment and family satisfaction throughout Alpha's campuses.

• Experience in education, teaching, admissions, enrollment management, or a comparable area
• 2+ years of client-facing experience in admissions, enrollment, events, or similar functions
• Robust administrative and organizational capabilities; you are dependable and meticulous
• Keen attention to detail and proven experience managing accurate applicant records or CRM systems
• Comfortable managing both remote responsibilities and in-person campus duties
• Capable of adapting swiftly and succeeding in a fast-moving, mission-driven setting
• Authorized to work in the US and available to work on-site in San Francisco, CA;
  Santa Barbara, CA; or NYC, NY

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $37 USD per hour, which equates to $75,000 USD per year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
