Position Summary:
The Martin Tuchman School of Management at New Jersey Institute of Technologyinvites applications for a full-time tenure-track Assistant Professorfaculty position in Artificial Intelligence for Business starting Fall 2026. Candidates must have earned their doctoral degree in business intelligence, artificial intelligence,computer science/data science or related fields. Successful candidates must demonstrate a record of scholarly accomplishments and commitment to contributingoriginal research into leading peer-reviewed publications.
The individual must have completed the doctorate at time of appointment in September 2026.
Essential Functions:
-The main duties of the position include teaching, research and service/outreach.
-The candidate must demonstrate a record of scholarly accomplishment and acommitment to contributing original research into leading peer reviewedpublications.
-The faculty is also expected to actively engage in various Program, School,and Institute committees and participate in community service. Excellent interpersonal, communication and management skills are also required.
-The candidate must be capable of delivering excellent instruction in a fullarray of courses, face-to-face and online, at the undergraduate and graduatelevels.
Prerequisite
Qualifications:
-Applicants musthave a doctorate degree by September 2026 in business intelligence, artificial intelligence,computer science/data science or related fields, preferably from an accredited school, and outstanding academic credentials that demonstrate their ability toconduct independent world-class research.
-The successful candidate is also expected to show a commitment to both undergraduate and graduate education.
-At the university's discretion, the education and experience prerequisitesmay be exempted where the candidate can demonstrate to the satisfaction of the university, an equivalent combination of education and experience specificallypreparing the candidate for success in the position.

Salary Information:
In compliance with the NJ Pay Transparency Law, the salary range for this position is $85,000-$140,000 (USD). NJIT considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses or other items.
