Description
Lotus Learning Group has a part‑time opening for a Teacher of Students with Disabilities or a NJ Certified Substitute with experience with the special needs population and enjoys working with beautiful students with special needs. Position is for a small regional day school in Essex County, NJ.
The hours are Monday‑Friday, approximately 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM. ½ lunch.
Qualifications- Special education experience
- Strong knowledge of life skills curriculum
- Experience with a multiply disabled population
- ABA experience preferred.
- NJ DOE Standard Teacher of Students with Disabilities (or Teacher of the Handicapped) certification
- Or possess a NJ DOE Substitute Certification with experience with special needs students
- Minimum of 1 year teaching experience, experience in the classroom as a substitute and/or paraprofessional with a substitute certification
