Fifth Grade Teacher Cape Court House

Bishop McHugh Regional Catholic School, a faith-centered, academically strong, and nurturing school community located in Cape May Courthouse, NJ, is seeking a full-time Fifth Grade Teacher for the 2025–2026 school year.

We are looking for a dedicated and dynamic educator who embraces Catholic values, brings creativity and innovation to the classroom, and fosters both academic and spiritual growth in students.

• Valid New Jersey Teaching Certification (Standard, CEAS, or CE); or equivalent out-of-state certification
• Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education (preferred)
• Practicing Catholic who is willing and able to model and share the faith;
  Pastor’s letter testifying to candidate’s practice of faith.
• Willingness to engage fully in the faith life and mission of the school
• Required to complete criminal background check and VIRTUS training upon hire

• Provide rigorous, engaging instruction aligned with curriculum standards
• Foster a joyful, respectful, and faith-filled classroom environment
• Collaborate with colleagues, families, and the wider school community
• Integrate STREAM, technology, and cross-curricular learning experiences
• Participate in school liturgies, events, and Catholic identity initiatives
• Other duties as assigned by principal

• Salary range: $34,000–$44,000, based on experience and qualifications
