Temporary Part‑time Electrical Apprentice Instructor

Days and HoursSeptember – April, Monday – Thursday in the evening.
Job Description- Plan, prepare, and deliver approved curriculum on a daily basis.
- Evaluate and assist in the resolution of student concerns.
- Track student grades and attendance.
- Lead, inspire, motivate, and advise students to actively participate in all aspects of their educational process.
- Maintain expertise in the subject area.
- Provide regular, accurate and timely feedback to students and the school concerning academics, behavior, attendance, etc.
- This position holds responsibility for the success of the Electrical Apprentice program. It requires that a professional attitude be modeled as well as taught and that students are given the knowledge, skill and ability to serve the community as a professional electrician. Instructors provide assessment of students through applicable monitoring and reporting processes.
- Must have actively performed work on electrical systems in the construction, repair or design as they pertain to the residential, commercial or industrial industry for a minimum of five (5) years.
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of the National Electrical Code.
- Two years teaching experience preferred.
- Journeyman level of certification preferred.
