STEM Coordinator

The STEM Coordinator collaborates with the Program Director to develop and implement all STEM related programs and activities. Responsible for assessing, evaluating and reporting STEM programs and activities at assigned locations. Provides supervision and control of youth in program.

• Coordinate and collaborate with Program Director to meet expectations of grant
• Design and implement a comprehensive STEM program with goals and objectives for K-8 age groups for the 2023/2024 school year.
• Participate in VEX Robotics curriculum training for coding
• Monitor and evaluate the implementation of the STEM plan, including management of resources and staff development.
• Manage weekly STEM labs
• Maintain a safe and healthy classroom environment. Assure that classroom equipment, furniture, materials, and supplies are properly maintained and stored away

• Bachelor’s Degree in education or related STEM field preferred.
• Significant K-8 classroom experience teaching STEM or science.
• Criminal History Record Information Check (CHRI).
• Pass NJ Child Abuse Record Information Check (CARI).
• Ability to work with diverse populations.
