Anticipated Special Education Teacher (Middle School), Full Time, Tenured Track

We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher at the middle school grade levels. The successful candidate will provide instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs across multiple grade levels. This role includes co‑teaching in general education classrooms and providing resource room instruction for either Language Arts or Math.

• Collaborate with general education teachers to plan and implement effective co‑teaching models in inclusive classrooms
• Provide small‑group and individualized instruction in a resource room setting
• Deliver multisensory reading instruction using structured literacy approaches, if needed
• Support student growth in reading, writing, and or mathematics aligned with IEP goals
• Modify and adapt curriculum materials to meet diverse learning needs
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records of performance and interventions
• Participate in IEP meetings, team meetings, and parent conferences as needed
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment

• Valid Special Education Teaching Certification
• Possess certification in either English or Mathematics Specialization
• Experience with middle school students preferred
• Experience with co‑teaching and differentiated instruction
• Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively across multiple grade levels and with a variety of student needs
