Mathematics Teacher – 2026‑2027 School Year at Franklin High School.

POSITION SUMMARY: Provide daily instruction for students in accordance with Board-approved curriculum.

Deliver effective mathematics instruction, assess student learning, and maintain a positive learning environment.

• Appropriate New Jersey Certification required:
  Teacher of Mathematics
• Ability to maintain a positive learning environment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Compliance with the NJ FIRST Act
• Successful Criminal History Clearance
• Proof of U.S. Citizenship or appropriate employment authorization

10‑Month Contract. Salary and benefits as determined by the Board of Education and any applicable collective negotiations agreement.

In accordance with the provisions of the BOE/FTEA collective bargaining agreement, the salary range for this position in the 26/27 SY is Step 1 BA/BS ($68,023) – Step 18 PhD/EdD ($99,380). Compensation will be commensurate with experience and education.

Performance is reviewed annually in accordance with NJ State law and the provisions of the Board of Education policy on evaluations for certificated staff.

Ability to be proficient in computer applications pertinent to support the position, including but not limited to Google Suite, IEP software program, Genesis Employee Portal and Student Information System.
