Job OverviewOn a part‑time limited basis, the Adjunct Faculty member’s primary academic functions include teaching, researching, creating, and reporting knowledge to a variety of students.
Essential Functions- Conduct and teach assigned undergraduate and/or graduate‑level courses and seminars on a part‑time basis.
- Serve as an academic advisor for students and evaluate student coursework.
- Engage in other activities ancillary to or in support of responsibilities.
- Review and respond in a timely manner to all University‑related communications.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Academic degree in a relevant discipline and prior teaching experience.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to present complex material to students unfamiliar with the subject.
- Ability to work and collaborate with individuals from a variety of backgrounds.
- Office environment with no specific unusual physical or environmental demands.
