Posting Summary

The Rutgers Business School at Rutgers – Newark and New Brunswick is accepting applications for part‑time instructors for the Summer 2027 term, with courses beginning in May 2027 to August 2027. We are seeking qualified candidates who will contribute to the University's educational mission, as well as the academic objectives and goals of the Rutgers Business School, combining learning and enterprise.

Job responsibilities include:

  • Instructing/Co‑instructing courses at the graduate and/or undergraduate level (including traditional lecture, hybrid, and/or online courses)
  • Preparing course materials (syllabi, presentations, hand‑outs, reading materials, etc.)
  • Providing advisement and constructive feedback to students and instruction regarding academic standards
  • Responding to student emails and inquiries
  • Adhering to grade submission policies and deadlines
  • Adhering to University policies and regulations
  • Practicing innovative educational methodology
Qualifications
  • Masters degree in a related field or relevant industry experience;
    Doctoral degrees preferred.
  • Must demonstrate ability to teach at an undergraduate or graduate level; prior teaching experience is preferred.
