An appropriate New Jersey Department of Education Standard Certificate, Certificate of Eligibility (CE), or Certificate of Eligibility with Advanced Standing (CEAS) as deemed necessary by https://(Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). is required. A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred, unless otherwise specified by the New Jersey Department of Education.

Basic functions and responsibilities include planning a program of study that meets the individual needs, interests, and abilities of students, evaluating student progress, instructing pupils in citizenship and basic communications skills, providing individual, small, and/or large group instruction, supervising out-of-classroom activities, planning and coordinating the work of aides and teacher assistants, identifying pupil's needs, cooperating with other professional staff members, communicating with parents, maintaining attendance accounting, developing and participating in the sponsorship of student activities and faculty committees, acting as a resource person on an interdepartmental level, and performing other duties and tasks assigned by Supervisor.
