Preschool Teacher – Multiple Locations in Newark

Clinton Hill Community & Early Childhood Center, Inc. is seeking passionate Preschool Teachers to lead engaging classrooms at our early childhood centers located throughout the City of Newark. Teachers implement high-quality instruction aligned with the NJ Preschool Teaching & Learning Standards and the Newark Board of Education curriculum while supporting children's social, emotional, and academic development.

The Preschool Teacher is responsible for leading a high-quality preschool classroom and implementing developmentally appropriate instruction aligned with the NJ Preschool Teaching & Learning Standards and Newark Board of Education program requirements. Teachers create safe, engaging learning environments that support children's social, emotional, and academic growth while building strong partnerships with families.

Clinton Hill Community & Early Childhood Center, Inc. operates multiple preschool locations throughout the City of Newark. Teachers hired for this position will be placed at one of our Newark sites based on program needs and candidate preference when possible.

Preschool Teachers implement curriculum with fidelity, observe and document children's development, analyze assessment data, and collaborate with instructional coaches, family services staff, and program leadership to support continuous improvement in teaching and learning.
