Camden County Technical School – 343 Berlin Cross Keys Road, Sicklerville, NJ.

16 hours per week, including a 4‑hour instructional block. Instruction may be assigned during daytime or evening hours based on departmental needs. Final teaching assignments may vary and schedule is flexible.

$40 per hour.

• Plan, prepare, and deliver instruction aligned with the approved curriculum on a daily basis.
• Develop lesson plans that support student learning outcomes and workforce readiness.
• Organize and maintain instructional materials, tools, equipment, and supply inventories.
• Monitor and evaluate student progress, including grading and attendance tracking.
• Provide timely, accurate, and constructive feedback on student performance, behavior and participation.
• Maintain current knowledge of applicable industry standards, laws, regulations, and compliance requirements, and integrate this knowledge into daily instruction.
• Communicate effectively with school staff regarding student behavior and instructional progress.
• Model professionalism, reliability, and respect to contribute to a positive school culture.

• 5 years of experience in the HVAC field.
• Prior teaching experience preferred.
• Proficient written communication skills, including the ability to prepare reports, complete student evaluations and document student progress.
• Strong verbal communication skills for classroom instruction and student engagement.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Field‑related license/certification, including, but not limited to, a minimum of OSHA 10 and EPA 608 certification. A New Jersey Master HVACR Contractor license is preferred.

• This position requires mobility throughout the campus.
• Dexterity in working with computers is mandatory.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods while teaching in a classroom and lab settings.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move HVAC‑related equipment or training materials up to 50 lbs.
• Sufficient manual dexterity to operate hand tools, power tools and training equipment.
• Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, climb and reach when demonstrating equipment installation, maintenance, or troubleshooting.
