Position OverviewHo-Ho-Kus Public School invites applications from enthusiastic, highly qualified, and dedicated educators for a Full-Time Tenure Track Elementary School Teacher position serving students in Grades K-5. The successful candidate will be a collaborative team member who brings creativity, high expectations, and a genuine passion for elementary education to our school community.

-Time, 10-Month, Tenure Track
Reports To: Principal
Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging, standards-aligned instruction in core subject areas (ELA, Math, Science, Social Studies) for elementary-age students.
- Create a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment that promotes academic achievement and social-emotional growth.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of all learners, including students with IEPs, 504 plans, and English Language Learners.
- Assess student progress regularly using formative and summative assessments; use data to inform instructional decisions.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of student attendance, grades, and performance.
- Communicate proactively and effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and classroom activities.
- Collaborate with grade-level colleagues, specialists, and support staff as part of a professional learning community.
- Participate in faculty meetings, professional development opportunities, and school-wide events.
- Fulfill all additional duties as assigned by the Principal in accordance with district policy.
- Valid New Jersey Standard Certificate in Elementary Education (K-5 or K-6), or eligibility to obtain certification prior to start date.
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field required;
Master's degree preferred. - Demonstrated knowledge of current best practices in elementary education, curriculum design, and child development.
- Strong classroom management skills and ability to build positive relationships with students.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Commitment to ongoing professional growth and collaboration.
- Experience with Google Workspace for Education and/or educational technology preferred.
- Prior student teaching or classroom experience at the elementary level preferred.
