Position Details

Rutgers Business School at Rutgers – Newark and New Brunswick is hiring lecturers and adjuncts for the Fall 2026 term, with courses beginning in September 2026 and ending in December 2026. These part‑time positions will be taught at the graduate and/or undergraduate level.

Posting Summary

Successful candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Instructing or co‑instructing courses at the graduate and/or undergraduate level (may include traditional lecture, hybrid, and/or fully online courses)
  • Preparing course materials such as syllabi, presentations, hand‑outs, and reading materials
  • Providing advisement and constructive feedback to students, and instruction regarding student work and academic standards
  • Responding to student emails and inquiries
  • Adhering to grade submission policies and deadlines
  • Adhering to university policies and regulations
  • Practicing innovative educational methodology
Qualifications

Minimum

Education and Experience:

Master’s degree in a related field or relevant industry experience is required. Doctoral degrees are preferred.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Must demonstrate ability to teach at an undergraduate or graduate level; prior teaching experience is preferred.
