Posting Summary
- The Rutgers School of Public Health Environmental and Occupational Health and Justice department invites applications for (2) two senior level (Associate/Full) Professors in Sustainability, on the Tenure/Tenure Track. A tenure-track Assistant Professor may also be considered. Qualified candidates should have a PhD in a field related to sustainability with a focus on health in its broadest construct, environmental justice that relates to sustainable development, or climate and health including resiliency, mitigation, and/or adaptability.
Faculty at the Rutgers School of Public Health will have the opportunity to engage in exciting teaching and mentorship activities through our certificate, masters and PhD programs.
Responsibilities:
· A record of esteemed scholarship (including quality peer-reviewed publications, extramural research funding as Principal Investigator, and keynote conference lectures)
· Experience and interest in teaching and learning, with a focus on student success and a commitment to equity in action.
· Experience of teaching master's students.
· Experience of supervising doctoral students and early career faculty.
· Interest in community engagement.

Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience
- The preferred candidate(s) will enhance, complement, and deepen our current department and School strengths, including but not limited to sustainability, environmental justice, climate and health, and education for sustainable development. Sustainability across environmental, social, economic, and/or governance as it relates to health is required.
