Salary: Minimum of $2,777 per credit. Final salary offer may be determined by qualifications, experience, funding, market benchmarks, and internal equity to ensure fair compensation.
ResponsibilitiesTeach fine art, art history, graphic design, journalism, music, theater, and film and video production surveys, laboratories, studios, workshops, music instruction, upper-level courses, or graduate courses focused on specific themes or topics. Duties include preparing course material; creating and posting a syllabus; presenting material; holding office hours; providing out‑of‑class support; responding to student e‑mail; conducting and grading assessments; and submitting final grades.
Course appointments may be during the day, evenings, weekends, off‑campus, online, hybrid, remotely or any combination based on department needs.
Minimum
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree preferred. Master's degree or Ph.D. strongly preferred.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must. Demonstrated ability to teach at the university level is highly desired.
