About Our SchoolsThe Schroth School in Ocean Township and The Lehmann School in Lakewood are New Jersey Approved Private Schools for Students with Disabilities (APSSDs), providing high-quality special education services for students ages 3–21 with multiple physical and developmental disabilities. Both schools are part of LADACIN Network, Inc. (Lifetime Assistance for Developmental and Challenging Individual Needs), a nonprofit organization that has been serving individuals with complex physical and developmental disabilities for more than 75 years.

LADACIN Network is seeking a dynamic, collaborative, and innovative educational leader to serve as the Supervisor of Curriculum for both The Schroth School and The Lehmann School. The Supervisor of Curriculum provides instructional leadership and curriculum oversight to ensure high-quality educational programming for students with multiple physical and developmental disabilities. Working collaboratively with school administrators, teachers, therapists, school social workers, and families, this position supports curriculum implementation, instructional excellence, staff development, and compliance with New Jersey Department of Education regulations.
The Supervisor of Curriculum also partners with sending school districts to promote positive educational outcomes and ensure students receive all services outlined in students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Provide instructional leadership and curriculum oversight across both schools.
- Support implementation of New Jersey-approved curriculum and ensure instructional fidelity.
- Coach, mentor, and support teachers to strengthen instructional practices and student achievement.
- Assist with curriculum development, instructional planning, and continuous program improvement.
- Collaborate with administrators to support educational initiatives and school improvement efforts.
- Ensure compliance with NJDOE regulations, IDEA, APSSD standards, and other applicable requirements.
- Collaborate with therapists and educational staff to ensure students receive all mandated IEP services.
- Partner with school social workers, serving as case managers, to maintain strong relationships with sending school districts.
- Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team meetings, parent conferences, and other educational planning meetings as needed.
- Monitor instructional quality, student progress, and educational outcomes.
- Coordinate and facilitate professional development opportunities for instructional staff.
- Maintain effective communication with families, staff, sending school districts, and community partners.
- Perform other duties as assigned by school administration.
- Master's degree in Special Education or a related educational field.
- Valid New Jersey Supervisor Certificate required.
- Valid New Jersey Principal Certificate required.
- Experience in educational leadership preferred.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental and multiple physical disabilities preferred.
- Strong knowledge of NJDOE regulations, IDEA, curriculum development, and instructional best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary educational environment.
- Must successfully complete a New Jersey criminal history background check and obtain Department of Education clearance.

Work LocationThis position provides leadership support for both The Schroth School in Ocean Township and The Lehmann School in Lakewood. Travel between school locations is required.
