- Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university.
- New Jersey Department of Education Certificate in Supervisor (0106).
- Minimum of three (3) years successful experience in teaching the related content area or related experience.
- Facilitate the growth and development of teachers working collaboratively with peers.
- Assist teachers in the alignment, articulation, integration, and implementation of curriculum across grade levels.
- Teach demonstration lessons in classrooms and serve as a peer coach and mentor for staff in reciprocal relationships.
- Provide teachers the opportunity to develop effective instructional techniques, strategies, and professional behaviors.
- Possess knowledge of New Jersey Student Learning Standards for curriculum, assessment, and instruction.
- Attend and participate in ongoing professional development activities.
- Enhance teachers’ knowledge of content and management skills.
- Analyze and communicate student assessment data, and make program recommendations based on analysis of available data.
- Provide reports on the progress of program initiatives.
- Perform other duties consistent with specific contractual terms of employment as assigned by the Principal.
- Monitor implementation of the school district’s approved content program in accordance with student needs.
- Attend and participate in in-service workshops.
- Assist classroom teachers and teacher aides in the creative use of new technological equipment and supplementary materials.
- Perform other duties and tasks assigned by the Supervisor.
Principal
Salary, Employment Period, and Union Affiliation- Salary Range: $92,000 - $128,000 (Pending salary negotiations)
- Employment Period:
Eleven (11) Months - Union Affiliation: CASA
