Student Assistant
Rutgers School of Health Professions (SHP) is seeking a Student Assistant to work in the Department of Rehabilitation and Movement Science. Under direction, the Student Assistant will assist faculty with classroom records and assignments. The Student Assistant also leads discussion sections and meets with students during office hours, conferencing with them individually or in small groups. Additionally, the Student Assistant assists with organizing and maintaining equipment and materials needed for courses and performing other related duties as assigned.
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:
- Interacts with faculty and staff.
- Assists with classroom set up.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Salary Details - $15.92/hour is budgeted for this position.
Minimum Salary - 15.92
Mid Range Salary - 75.00
Maximum Salary - 150.00

Minimum Education and Experience
- Must be a current Rutgers student enrolled in a graduate program. Must have good academic standing, without any C grades, warnings or probation, and must demonstrate excellent professional behavior.
Physical Demands and Work Environment - PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Standing, sitting, walking, talking and hearing. No special vision requirements. WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Working with multiple students in a busy environment and multi-tasking while being empathetic yet helping students to meet the standards for coursework.
