This position, pending availability of funds and Superintendent's approval, seeks a Strategic Analyst to support district work by driving curriculum‑specific initiatives and programs. The role may also include other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities- Implement strategic initiatives that align with the district's vision for specific curriculum and instruction.
- Spend a minimum of 75% of work time in the field providing technical assistance and support.
- Design and deliver professional development opportunities.
- Support the implementation of curriculum and professional development.
- Assist in assessing the educational, financial, and operational needs of schools and identifying ways the assigned Office and/or Department can help meet those needs.
- Facilitate the acquisition of resources related to the work of the assigned Office and/or Department, and ensure alignment with budgetary goals.
- Collaborate with other district departments to develop and implement instructional programs.
- Support strategic partnerships with community and philanthropic partners to enhance programming.
- Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to improve available resource options for the district.
- Perform other duties and tasks assigned.

- Deep knowledge of effective policies, strategies, and resources that promote student achievement.

- Outstanding critical‑thinking skills with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop innovative solutions.
- Excellent project management and execution skills, balancing strategic goals with detailed action steps.
- New Jersey Permanent Teacher Certificate.
- Three to five years of relevant experience.
- Master's Degree in Education or a related field preferred.

Salary, Employment Period and Union AffiliationSalary: $74,063 to $129,952 (for SY). Employment Period:
Twelve (12) Months. Union Affiliation:
Newark Teachers Union (NTU).
