Student Assistant
Rutgers School of Health Professions (SHP) is seeking a Student Assistant to work in the Occupational Therapy Doctorate (OTD) Program within the Department Rehabilitation and Movement Sciences. The Student Assistant will assist faculty with classroom records and assignments, lead discussion sections, meet with students during office hours, and conduct conferences with students individually or in small groups. Additionally, the Student Assistant will assist with organizing and maintaining the equipment and materials needed for courses.
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:
- Assists faculty with classroom records, and assignments.
- Leads discussion sections, meets with other students during office hours, conferences with students individually or in small groups.
- Organizes and maintains the organization of equipment and materials needed for courses.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Salary Details - $15.92/hour is budgeted for this position.
Minimum Salary - 15.92
Mid Range Salary - 75.00
Maximum Salary - 150.00

Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience
- Must be a current Rutgers student. Must be enrolled in the OTD program. Must have good academic standing, without any C grades, warnings, or probation, and must demonstrate excellent professional behavior.
Physical Demands and Work Environment - PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Standing, sitting, walking, talking and hearing. No special vision requirements. WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Works with multiple students in a fast-paced environment, effectively multitasking while providing empathetic support and assisting students in meeting coursework standards.
