As the principal, you lead all aspects of the school, from uniting teachers and staff around a common vision to ensuring day‑to‑day operations run smoothly. You are an instructional leader spending time in classrooms, working with teachers to ensure students are learning, and partnering with families on post‑secondary success.

You are a culture leader fostering an inclusive, caring, and supportive school community and building strong relationships with families and the community. And you are an organizational leader managing a budget, evaluating staff, analyzing data, and ensuring your school’s efforts follow district policy. You balance many priorities and wear many hats, including presence at College Night and the basketball game.

As the school leader, you are ultimately responsible for your school’s success—though you’ll achieve that with the collaboration of your vice principals and entire team of teachers and staff.
