Position Title
Part‑time instructor (Lecturer/Coadjutant) for the Fall 2026 semester in the Honors Living and Learning Community at Rutgers University‑Newark.
LocationRutgers University‑Newark, Newark, NJ.
Salary & CompensationA minimum of $2,777 per credit

- Prepare course material, create and post a syllabus, and present material during assigned course times.
- Hold office hours and provide out‑of‑class time for students.
- Respond to student e‑mails and conduct grading of assignments, exams, and other assessments in a timely manner.
- Submit final grades.
- Teach surveys or upper‑level courses focused on specific themes or topics.
- Deliver instruction via day, evening, weekend, off‑campus, online, hybrid, or remote formats as required.
- Minimum bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent education/experience.
- Master’s degree or Ph.D. strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to teach at the university level.
