At KIPP New Jersey, our mission is to prepare our students to change the world. We believe that a bachelor's degree is a powerful pathway to professional and personal success for many students - and we also recognize that strong career-aligned pathways can provide meaningful, upwardly mobile outcomes for students who choose a non-college route.
The 11th Grade SAT Prep Teacher plays a critical role in preparing students for postsecondary success by building the academic readiness, test performance, and postsecondary awareness required to make strong choices in 12th grade and beyond. This role focuses on two core areas: SAT preparation (via Winward Academy) and academic skill-building, and guided exploration and planning through the postsecondary wishlist-building process
